Facing the tide of
globalization, the Asia-Pacific contact centre industry feels
strongly about the importance of cooperation. APCCAL (Asia Pacific
Contact Center Association Leadership) was established in Haikou,
China on the October 19, 2007. Upon founding the organization,
APPCAL decided to kick off its activities with the first ever
regional annual conference. The conference to be held in Beijing
is based on the concept of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, of which
the theme is Faster (Technology), Higher (People) and Stronger
(Management / Strategy).The conference consists of keynote speakers,
new technology and system demonstrations, round-table summits,
management workshops, contact centre site visits and more. As
the first and largest regional conference in Asia Pacific*s
contact centre history, it is named "the Contact Centre
Olympics".
In the past 10 years China has experienced rapid development
in contact centres. The industry has seen companies shift
their focus to operations management with more and more contact
centers gaining experience in their own industry background.
China*s contact centre industry is approaching international
standard. By bridging the gap between west and east, valuable
business opportunities have emerged.
The establishment of APCCAL Contact Center Expo and CHINA
BEST CONTACT CENTER AWARDS & SUMMIT is aimed to promote
the concept of customer care, promote contact centres to business
leaders and the wider business community, and to promote Asia
Pacific as the preferred location for contact centres. The
conference will bring together outstanding professional speakers
and best practice case studies within the region to guests.
APCCAL CONTACT CENTER EXPO 2008 is a premier international
event in China, endorsed by APCCAL and supported by all members
of China*s Ministry of Information Industry. It*s also the
renowned annual award ceremony in Asia Pacific. This summit
includes products exhibition, awards gala dinner, round table
meetings and management workshops which will provide you with
the opportunities to network with industry professionals.
