友邦保险公司于1998年率先开通国内保险业界首个免费服务热线800-820-3588。经过12年的发展，目前友邦在中国区内建立了两个电话营商中心，分别坐落于上海和广州，拥有将近100个人工座席，为友邦中国5家分公司的客户和保险营销员、银行保险服务人员、保险经纪等提供自动语音应答和人工服务，其中人工服务涉及的业务包括各类来电咨询、理赔报备、投诉处理、外拨回访服务、网络销售服务等。

In 1998, AIA launched the first free service hotline 800-820-3588 in industry. Located in Shanghai and Guangzhou, AIA Call Center has set up over 100 workstations after 12 years of development. It offers interactive voice response and manual service to customers, agents, field coaches for the whole five branches in mainland China, including various business enquiry, claims filing, complaint handling, outbound services and E-business services, etc.

AIA China was the first foreign organization to be granted an insurance license in China. Today, AIA has operations in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangdong and Jiangsu provinces. As the first insurer to introduce the agency system to China, AIA has established a professional agency force and provides a full line of life, accident and medical insurance products to customers through a multi-channel distribution system.
